For a fairly long time, the role of Fock terms in a relativistic energy density functional (EDF) in determining the nuclear structure remained an unanswered question. In this talk, the relativistic EDF with density-dependent meson-nucleon couplings that explicitly takes the Fock terms into account will be briefly introduced. This EDF leads to the density-dependent relativistic Hartree-Fock (DDRHF) theory and its extensions.
The effects of Fock terms in describing the nuclear structure will be discussed. Compared to the simple Hartree approach adopted in the so-called relativistic mean field (RMF) theory, the Fock diagrams of meson-nucleon couplings lead to non-local mean fields and to a new balance of nuclear attractions and repulsions as well, which have significant effects on the nuclear effective masses and the conservation of pseudo-spin symmetry. Besides, the new degrees of freedom, such as the one-pion exchange and Lorentz tensor rho couplings, can be properly handled with the presence of Fock terms. In addition to that, the Fock diagrams can bring an important ingredient of nuclear forces: nuclear rank-2 tensor interactions can be taken into account. All these features have essential effects on nuclear structure properties, such as the shell evolutions, saturation mechanism of nuclear matter, etc.
个人简历:
2005年7月和2006年1月分别毕业于法国巴黎南大学与北京大学,之后先后访问日本、德国、美国,2010年8月归国,现为兰州大学核科学与技术学院教授。致力于原子核结构的协变密度泛函理论研究,与合作者一道,发展了以北京大学命名的新协变密度泛函;建立了含交换项的协变密度泛函理论――密度依赖的相对论Hartree-Fock理论及其扩展的描述奇特原子核的相对论Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov理论;提出原子核张量力的相对论协变公式,并证实其可被交换项自然引入。2010年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划,2013年获教育部自然科学奖一等奖。在Physics Letters B、Physical Review C等国内外期刊上发表学术论文40余篇。
